We have stopped by this Canco multiple times and it has become our new favorite spot. The gas is always at the best price in LC, the Chester's Chicken is amazing, and the variety of goodies is fantastic. With all that being said, what really sets them apart, is the caring and kind staff. We are always greeted with a warm smile and quick service. Today my son had the unfortunate incident of slamming his finger in our truck door and was quite beside himself. They were so concerned for his well being and the sweetest lady behind the counter offered him his favorite ice cream as a distraction, we also got a small cup of slush (they had no ice) to stick his finger in. The fact they care so much for the well being of those in their community is something we will never forget. This was already our new favorite spot, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone living here or traveling through. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff. 100/10.
Everyone says this place is super pricey. I paid $4 for a kids cone with a pretty generous scoop, even a scoop and a half. The top ended up falling off into the dirt and my kid was in tears! The lady working didn’t make us pay for a new one and gave him a whole new cone with new ice cream. Excellent customer service and the prices aren’t that bad. I’m certain you’d pay more at Dairy Queen for a similar amount of ice cream.

I recently stopped at canco woodsdale on my road trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food! The convenience of being able to fill up my tank and grab a delicious meal all in one place is a huge plus. The gas prices were competitive, but what really stood out was the food selection. They had a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and even some hot options that looked tempting. I decided to try their it was fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth. Plus, the cleanliness of the place was impressive — a well-kept dining area always makes a stop more enjoyable.
Store was clean and employees friendly. We heard Chester's fried chicken for nostalgic purposes but they didn't have the wedges, the coleslaw side, and it was only 6pm. The pricing scheme was a little confusing given all the sold out items we had to sub for. However, the fried chicken itself tasted great.
